Every spring, Dartmouth juniors and seniors undergraduates prepare what I believe is one of the most compelling and impressive showcases of student musicianship on campus: the junior and senior music recitals. Most are music majors or minors, some are doing it as a part of their senior theses and some have been involved in various HOP ensembles or a cappella groups throughout their three or four years on campus—but all have prepared incredibly poignant pieces for you to hear this spring, only possible by their dedication of endless hours towards preparation, practice and rehearsal throughout the year. These recitals are, particularly for the seniors, the culminating experience of music lessons, practices and performances in their time here at Dartmouth. And for those not planning on continuing a career in music after graduation, it may very well be their last performance. So please join us in listening to these fantastic musicians this spring!
All but the final event on this list take place in Faulkner Recital Hall, in the Dartmouth College Music Department section of Hopkins Center.
